The ongoing consultations of the All Progressives Grand Alliance’s governorship candidate in Enugu state, received a huge boost after Power Shift, a movement of young professionals endorsed and agreed to work with him come 2023.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the convener of Power Shift who doubles as the National Leader, Nonso Nnamani stated that the group came to the decision after a careful analysis of more than 10 governorship candidates in the state.
According to Nnamani, it is public knowledge that Enugu State is far from realising its huge potential and only purposeful, result-oriented leadership will see the state reach the heights expected of it.
He further said that Power Shift Movement was convinced that the former Minister, Frank Nweke has the right skill, qualities, and character to lead the state to greatness.
The group declared that Nweke’s track record shows a trailblazing pattern of excellence right before he became the Nigeria’s Minister of communication.
Nonso Nnamani revealed that Nweke was gaining increasing acceptability at the grassroots which is an indication of the confidence reposed on him and his ability to deliver.
He further stated that what Enugu needs is a trusted chief executive capable of managing resources and the industrious people of the state. He added he believes he has the requisite knowledge to make sure that things get better.
