The Labour Party House of Assembly candidate for Nkanu East Constituency in Enugu state, Hon. Surveyor Okwudili Nnaji on Saturday assured that his campaign would be based on issues and not personality.
Surv. Nnaji who spoke while interacting with our reporter called on candidates of other political parties to play the game by the rules.
“The normal gimmicks used to deceive Ndi Nkanu East would no longer work in 2023 because our people are being aware and conscious about their future” he noted.
Nnaji however urged members of the party and residents in the state to massively vote for all the candidates of Labour Party in the 2023 general elections.
According to him, Ndi Enugu should support the Edeoga-Nwokeabia ticket by ensuring that 95 percent of votes cast in the state go to the LP.
Okwudili Nnaji maintained that 2023 is going to be a historical year for Ndi Nkanu East Constituency because “we have a chance to make history by winning the election”
“This can only be possible by the grace of God and with your massive support. I urge our people to close ranks irrespective of our political leanings and support Labour Party for the interest of our state.
“I therefore call on all the leaders and stakeholders of our great party in Nkanu East and across the state to come together to deliver all our party candidates,”
“I am sure nobody here will want a continuation of the state of divisiveness, insecurity, indebtedness, mass poverty, cluelessness in which the PDP-led state government has plunged the state” he concluded.
